Making headway

I’m happy to say that even though I have been having issues with pain in my hands and my ball winder calling it quits, I’m back on track!

I was able to untangle and save most of the Seawool today

Finished spinning and plying the other half of my coopworth (I have yet to count the yards)

Started seasilk

And have gathered my other skien soft yarn together to get ready for the fair

With all the rain we will be getting this week, I feel like I could knock out two or three more skeins!

Have a great night folks!

Lazy hazy crazy days of summer

This summer has been full of ups and downs, with animals, gardens, activities and trying to finish items for the craft fair. This last week has been full of the downs, my ball winder that I’ve used 7.5 times died and the beautiful Seawool yarn I had been winding on it well…

This kind of stuff never happens with the cheap wool of course 😦

My sewing machine and I haven’t gotten along for awhile now and not surprisingly I have Lyme disease which has affected my joints slowing down my progress. I’m still chugging along slowly but surely. I’m just glad I am sharing my booth with two close friends 🙂

We have veggies popping up all over the garden, we started our garden late this year so they are small but growing bigger everyday

Now I will leave you with this video of our resident deer who hangs out in our east field.
