Summertime

Dance season has ended, school is winding up, and summer vacation starts on Friday!

With special permission from her dance teacher, with her brother off with his YaYa & Grootvader, and side by side with her best friend, Lorelai finally got a little more colorful

(Don’t let this picture fool you, her friend on the right is actually a foot taller than she is)

They a now twinning it up at school.

Her dance recital was fantastic and we are excited for the fall season, though we have decided to test the waters at a different dance school.

Unfortunately I didn’t get the best pictures, so here are two from her second dance

Also last week we got to enjoy a play at the school put on by the first and second graders, I was informed last minute by chicken little himself, that he needed a mask. So after combining four patterns,  around 11:30 the night before the play, chicken little had a mask

While I was in the process of making this mask, I was also teaching my dad how to crochet

I have so many crafty items I wish I could post right now but alas, they are surprises for a bachelorette party I am attending in the Fall, I’m afraid if I post them the bride will see them. I am excited to post pictures of everything I’ve been working on after the party.

I can however show you what I have been working on for the craft fair

Hats and coasters, I also have cupcake scarves though I have no pictures at the moment.

I also have some lovely Romney all washed

And thanks to a new friend, today I will be using her wool picker to help separate the locks before carding it up and spinning!

Next week will be my last week of quilting until school starts again, I am currently working on my favorite project.

Of which I have very intention of purchasing when finished!

Have a great week folks!!
