I’m trying

I wish I could tell you my absence has been filled with fiber, fabric, and vinyl, but it has not. It’s been filled with hours of work. I can’t tell you the last time I picked up a skein of yarn, sat down at my sewing machine, or turned on my Cricut.

I got up most mornings at 5:45 and went off to work, some days I did not get home until almost 10 pm.

As I mentioned before, the company Toph was working for closed, so I’ve been picking up many hours at work so the savings didn’t need to be touched. Last week however, right before wrapping up a 67 hour work week, Toph received a job off and I am now back on call for weekends.

I am lucky enough that I will once again be able to stay home with my kids, I will be able to return to homeschooling the girls, and will be able to do more than dream of creating lovely things.

I was able to make a purchase last night to help me with that task, I won’t yet say what it is, that will ensure that I will update more than once a month 😂. I will tell you that I researched, I am excited, and it should be here sometime next week (providing the snow storms do not cause too much delay)

Have a great day folks!
