Happy new year to all you folks out there! I spent the first part of my New Year’s Eve cleaning my always messy craft room, so far it has stayed clean.
The other side of course is still messy, it’s a never ending work in progress.
It’s been nice to work in there with the wood stove roaring during these cold days (-15 anyone?), the wind has been blowing non stop, but is sure does look pretty outside
I have several projects going on ( Don’t I always?), I am still working on the usual things, however those have been out on a back-burner while I finish up an order for 8 moose loveys.
I am really loving the plaid stitch, this is the first time I have ever attempted it and it turned out to be easier than I expected.
As you can see in the first picture, I have a rather large amount of yarn…..I’ve been called a hoarder, while I wouldn’t say that I’m at that level (I can see my floor and move around), I may have a slight…fiber addiction… however I am resolved to use a little bit up each day.
I was inspired by Nadia over at Yarnutopia with her 365 days of granny squares, so I thought “what a great way to use up some yarn” and you know I’ll be able to make that granny square Christmas tree that has been going around.
Not only am I doing squares but I am doing basic crochet hats as well, Are they pretty? Not all of them but why not.
Day one
Day two
Have a nice night folks! Stay warm!!
